Colour Blocking Trend:

                           Thought id share this

Colour is IN this coming summer, especially blocks of it!

Celebrities and media socialites have started the “color blocking” trend and I am sure you
will see more of these styles in stores near you soon!

Personally I love this trend, I think it’s fresh, edgy and sophisticated.

I WILL be colour blocking this summer!

Choose YOUR body-type!

We all have unique shaped bodies that is what makes us “us”. In this blog I am going to identify some of the mainstream body types, along with the clothing that most suits and flatters these shapes.

Banana body shape: Their measurements will be similar across the hips, waist & bust. Not many curves are present; they will also have an “athletic” appearance.

Apple body shape: Their bust is average in size and they are slightly bigger around the waist than the hips. Their bum is usually flat, not round.

Pear body shape: Hips and thighs will be the pear shapes largest measurements. They are generally smaller around the bust, waist and shoulders.

Hourglass body shape: The hourglass body shapes largest measurements will be their hips and bust. They have a smaller nipped in waist, just like an “hourglass”.

Clothing choices:

Banana:       Dresses or tops that have ruffles, beading or a belt around the waist.
Layered t-shirts, boat neck tops, blouses and tailored jackets.

Apple:          Wrap dresses, loose poet sleeves, cardigans, shrugs, A-line skirts.

Pear:            Halter tops, strappy tops, A-line skirts and dresses, boot-cut denim jeans.

Hourglass:   Pencil skirts, blouses, good fitting bra, v-neck t-shirts, wide-legged low waist
pants that fasten on the side.

Tip  ** Shape wear helps to correct body issues and create illusions under clothing**
